  1. This was an excellent multimodal presentation of your teaching scheme and experience with it! Good reflective discussion of the teaching scheme. As you pointed out, it might have been a better way to teach plurals to first give them lots of examples with a pair of singular-plural nouns and let them figure out the rules themselves in a pair or group. But it's also important to learn what works and what does not work through experience, so every trial and experience is valuable and worthwhile if you could learn from it. Showing the video clip by a young (presumably native-speaker) kid was a great idea for the pupils to see how to read/recite the poem, which could also have given them some idea about pronunciation and intonation of the poem. Great work!
